Psychometrics, Quantitative Methods, and Assessment Innovation

Development of Personalized Psychometric Latent Space Models
Mar 2021 - Present
In collaboration with Prof. Minjeong Jeon at UCLA, this project develops personalized assessment models using latent-space network analysis. The research aims to overcome limitations of conventional measurement models by enabling individualized diagnostic profiling in depression, anxiety, addiction, and ability assessment. Publications include one paper in 2023, one in 2024, and three in 2025.
Psychometric Evaluation of the Pemberton Happiness Index (PHI)
Jan 2023 - Present
Conducted with Prof. Bradley Smith at the University of Houston, this project investigates the reliability, factor structure, and measurement invariance of the PHI across diverse populations.
Integrating Current Status and Change in Preventive Intervention Research
Mar 2025 - Present
In collaboration with Prof. Bradley Smith at the University of Houston, this study develops indicators that integrate current states with changes from prior states and examines their properties and applications using empirical datasets.
Missing Data Handling and Measurement Invariance for Ordinal Data
Feb 2026 - Present
In collaboration with Prof. Suppanut Sriutaisuk at Chulalongkorn University, this project develops methods for handling missing ordinal data in measurement invariance testing and evaluates their performance through simulation studies.
Mediation Analysis with Survival Variables as Mediators
Apr 2026 - Present
This collaborative project with Prof. Suppanut Sriutaisuk (Chulalongkorn University) and Dr. Sooyong Lee (WIDA, University of Wisconsin–Madison) investigates methods for estimating and testing mediation effects in models involving survival variables as mediators.
